Rock Band Scripter Makes Stop In Tallahassee

Scripter heads to Florida's capitol, Tallahassee, to promote the release of their EP "Ex Nihilo".

PRLog - Jan. 26, 2013 - Scripter, an up and coming alternative rock band based out of Destin, FL heads to Tallahassee, FL to promote the release of their EP "Ex Nihilo". They will be playing at one of Tallahassee's premier venues, Club Atmosphere, and are being accompanied by popular regional acts Falling at Will, This City is Haunted, and DJ Butch.

Mike Fisher, the vocalist and bassist from Scripter, is happy to be returning to the city of his alma mater, Florida State University. "I went to Florida State from 2008 until 2011," Fisher states, "When I heard we were going to be playing in Tallahassee I felt like I was going home. I have a lot of good memories playing music at all the local venues, and still have a lot of good friends there that I'm hoping to see when we get there".

Fisher graduated from Florida State University in 2011, and upon moving back to his hometown of Destin, FL, formed the band Scripter with fellow band mates Patrick Mead and Brandon Jones. They have had a soft release of their 4 track EP "Ex Nihilo" over the course of the last month, but have recently heightened promotion of the album after quickly building a strong online presence, and making singles from the album available through itunes, amazon, spotify, rhapsody, and most major internet music stores and radio stations.
