New E-book Offers Tips for Healthier, Green Living

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- A new e-book entitled “Happy, Healthy and Green: A Month-to-Month Guide to Creating a Healthy Family in a Green Home,” offers readers year-round tips on how to make your home and family healthier.    

    Written by published author Phyllis Edson, the e-book offers simple tips to adopt both “green” actions and healthy living.  

    “January is an excellent time to start thinking about making changes in your life and in your home.  This book provides the reader with some ideas of how families can work together and live more healthy,” she said.    

    For example, in the month of December, the e-book provides information on how to cut down on waste and how to recycle Christmas decorations.  Another month, offers tips for getting exercise as a family while planting a home garden.  The information in the book is presented in a way that allows the family to work together toward the goal of healthy living, said Edson.  

    “Moms and families are busy.  While we all want to live healthier sometimes finding time to think about it and plan how that’s going to get done falls by the wayside.  My e-book simply offers small tips and allows the whole family to become involved.  Part of the book calls for the entire family to discuss healthy living goals and discuss what they want to do,” she said.  

    Edson’s ebook is available exclusively on Kindle.
