Jake’s Wayback Burgers Partners With Jdrf To Host Dine In For Diabetes Fundraiser

Jan. 25, 2013 - PRLog -- Jake’s Wayback Burgers, with 62 locations, today announces that its East Northport, New York and East Meadow, New York locations will host a ‘Dine in for Diabetes’ fundraiser on Sunday, January 27 from 11:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m., in which 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Long Island Chapter.

During the month of January, Jake’s Wayback Burgers is hosting a JDRF Sneaker Sale, in which the East Northport, NY and East Meadow, NY location, combined, sold over $800 dollars’ worth of sneakers at $1 apiece, thus far. The Sneaker Sale ends the first week of February and Jake’s Wayback Burgers will welcome the Long Island Chapter to its restaurants for a check presentation.  Proceeds from the Sneaker Sale benefit JDRF.

In addition, for the month of January, Jake’s Wayback Burgers is offering the Cheeeesy Burger and the Café Mocha Milkshake as the Burger & Milkshake of the Month (BOM & MOM). The Cheeeesy Burger is a hearty mouth-watering double patty burger stacked with 4 layers of American cheese, served on a grilled buttered bun.  The Cheeeesy Burger is deliciously paired with the Café Mocha Milkshake of the Month, which was chosen by Jake’s Wayback Burgers Facebook fans in November 2012.

Jake’s Wayback Burgers serves the best burgers under the bun, hand-pattied from 100% fresh, never frozen ground beef and cooked to order.
