Wilmington Design Company Purchases New Office Space on Wrightsville Avenue

Jan. 24, 2013 - PRLog -- Wilmington, NC - Wilmington Design Company purchased the former Bradley-Barnes Construction office on Wrightsville Avenue in late December. The space is a free standing, two-story, 5,000 square foot office and offers the company the necessary room for growth.  

"This new space puts Wilmington Design in good position and location to continue its growth pattern," says founder and CEO Bill Hunter. The design company will complete the move into the renovated space on January 25, 2013.

In the past year, Wilmington Design Company has expanded offerings to meet growing demands. The company entered two additional markets as a major competitor, Myrtle Beach and Fayetteville, and expanded to include Search Engine Marketing as a service. Joining the company in 2012 is a new Internet Marketing Director and an additional Web Designer/ Developer.  A graphic designer is scheduled to join the team in February 2013.

Internally, the company spent much of 2012 upgrading office equipment.  A migration effort from a hybrid Windows/ Mac environment to full Mac OSX use was completed, which includes compatible graphics storage. Web hosting and mail services were enhanced with the purchase of a dedicated offsite server that doubled storage capacity and quadrupled memory, bandwidth, and processing. Wilmington Design also invested in a duel redundancy server to minimize hosting and mail downtime or interruptions.
