-- DENVER, January 24, 2013 - Denver-based social network for philanthropy, SoRewarding, is teaming up with The Ginn Mill to host a special benefit event for local nonprofit The Morgan Adams Foundation this month.
s goal is to involve a younger demographic in giving back to their community through integrating giving into everyone’s daily activities, and what better way than to celebrate local cancer reserach!
s events team plans parties to bring the community together to give back to local nonprofit organizations. Partnering with The Morgan Adams Foundation is one way for SoRewarding to thank the nonprofit for raising money for pediatric cancer research while hoping to inspire young Denverites to support the organization through “Good times for Great Causes.”
The Morgan Adams Foundation is a local nonprofit that was started by Joan Slaughter and Steve Adams after their daughter died of brain cancer in 1998. This organization works to raise money and awareness on behalf of children affected with cancer. The Morgan Adams Foundation works with leading physicians to directly fund pediatric cancer research and therapies which will improve survival rates.
s event will not only showcase an amazing local nonprofit but will also bring a new crowd to one of Downtown Denver’s favorite bars. The Ginn Mill is got its name as a “ginn mill” refers to an old-timers nickname for the local tavern or watering hole. The bar sets out to reflect a time that was more welcoming, communal, and friendly. This local hot spot shares a neighborhood with the Denver Rockies ballpark which makes it a great spot for pre-game and post-game drinks, to meet with friends, or to make new ones.
Anyone who would like to support this cause is encouraged to join SoRewarding The Ginn Mill at 8:00pm on Saturday, February 9 at 2041 Larimer Street in Denver. A portion of the proceeds from the bar between 8 and 11pm will go directly to The Morgan Adams Foundation.About SoRewarding
