Follow on Google News | Infiniti Has Debuted its New 2014 Q50 Sedan at the Detroit Auto ShowThe latest version of Infiniti’s luxury sports sedan will offer both a performance and a hybrid variant.
By: Motor Werks Infiniti of Hoffman Estates The 2014 Q50 will features a new look including a lower, wider stance. Its new width helps to increase interior space, which will be generous for the sport sedan’s class. Also new for the upcoming model year are a number of new technology features including Infiniti’s new InTouch communications system which works with the help of two touch screens. Two new performance technologies will also be making their worldwide debut in the 2014 Q50. The first is Infiniti Direct Adaptive Steering, which allows the driver to have more control over the angles of the tires. It also allows for a quicker response while still including driver selectable steering options for a customized ride. The second new feature is called Active Lane Control; this new system uses cameras to detect lane markers. It will be in place in order to assist the other active safety features already included with the Q50 Two powertrain options will be available in the 2014 model, including a powerful 3.7L V6 that produces 328 hp and a hybrid option. The all new Q50 Hybrid will use the new Infinit's Direct REsponse Hybrid System with Intelligent Dual Clutch Control. Both engine options will be offered with a choice of rear and all-wheel drive systems.
