Kaufman Lynn Construction brings in top talent to prepare for next growth phase.

Jan. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- Kaufman Lynn Construction announced three key additions to its management team:  Timothy Bonczek, Chief Operating Officer; Christopher L. Long, Vice President Operations and Ronald Scott Haligman, General Counsel.

In the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer, Bonczek provides company-wide leadership, strategy and management oversight. He supports the leadership team and all employees to execute and accomplish the goals of the strategic plan, while managing the organization’s overall operational activities.

Bonczek is no stranger to Kaufman Lynn Construction. He had started with the company in 1995 as superintendent and grew into a management role, focusing primarily on the automotive market sector. He left to take on the role of Vice President of Construction Operations with Dana B Kenyon Company in Jacksonville, Florida and later joined a core ownership group in creating Kenyon Energy, a renewable energy company whose primary focus/target market was photovoltaic systems with public sector PPA’s and mid-large scale EPC projects in both public and private sectors.

“I am very excited that Tim will be working alongside me again and have complete faith and trust that he will enable us to deepen our commitment to consistently deliver superior construction projects by relentlessly advancing our client’s vision, beyond their expectations,” explained Michael Kaufman, President & CEO of Kaufman Lynn Construction.

Long brings 25 years of construction experience to Kaufman Lynn and will oversee several projects for key clients, including Florida Atlantic University and JM Family Enterprises. In addition to direct project oversight, Long will lead Kaufman Lynn Construction’s commitment to enhancing overall service excellence. “Chris shares our passion for building long-term client relationships by ensuring operational excellence and delivering more than expected. We are excited to have him on our team,” said Kaufman.

Long joined Kaufman Lynn Construction from Balfour Beatty Construction, where he was Operations Director. His previous responsibilities included project management of all of Balfour Beatty Construction’s education related projects throughout the Southeast Region of Florida, including Innovation Village Apartments and the Football stadium at Florida Atlantic University.

Haligman serves as Kaufman Lynn Construction’s new General Counsel. In this role his primary responsibilities include managing the corporate insurance and risk programs, ensuring compliance with laws, reviewing and negotiating contracts and joint venture agreement negotiations. Prior to joining Kaufman Lynn Construction, Haligman was a Partner at Rozencwaig & Nadel, LLP in Hallendale Beach, Florida and Bilzin Sumberg in Miami. He spent a significant portion of his legal career as partner at K&L Gates in their Miami office. Prior to his law career, Haligman was a financial analyst for a NYSE-listed real estate development and construction company where he prepared in-depth financial analysis of real estate acquisitions and sales.
