After growing into one of Australia’s most influential gatherings, the Planetshakers U.S. conference was held Jan. 17-19 and featured compelling messages from speakers Russell Evans, Sam Evans, Chris Hill, Ben Prescott, Miles McPherson, Sergio De La Mora and Obed Martinez, as well as worship music by Planetshakers Band.
“We are humbled by the response we received at the very first Planetshakers USA conference here in San Diego,” says Russell Evans, founder/director and senior pastor of Planetshakers City Church. “People flew in from places like Florida and Hawaii to be part of this precious time where people were encouraged, empowered and given practical tools to return to their local church and serve with a renewed spirit, fresh energy and increase their influence and reach into their local community. America’s best days are ahead. The American church’s best days are ahead. The caliber and quality of people seeking God and pursuing Him with passion and strength is something we are excited about.”
“The theme of our conference was ‘Limitless,’”
Prior to the conference, the Planetshakers movement that birthed Planetshakers City Church in 2004, the fastest growing church in Australian history, made its debut on FOX News Channel’s “Huckabee (http://video.foxnews.com/
During the conference, Planetshakers Band led new songs from its 25th album, Limitless, which released amidst acclaim Jan. 15. Attendees were caught up in awe inspiring moments of worship as the band led “The Anthem” from Limitless, a song that www.theworshipcommunity.com encouraged worship leaders to add to their Easter setlists. They also responded in exuberant praise as the band led the title track, which is gathering airplay across the country, with WHRZ-FM (Spartanburg)
