After Eye-Patch witnesses a brutal dog fight, Pudge, fearing for his and his nephew’s lives, decides get them both out of the city and heads someplace safe. They high-tail it into the Colorado countryside, where they hope to find a peaceful life. There they quickly find a loving family who takes them in. But when they encounter the story’s villain, Mitch, they learn that you can’t just run away from your problems.
