Her eBook tells of how she was nearly kidnapped at age five while walking home from school.  She stood at the car door and right as the kidnapper thought of pushing her into his vehicle, something standing behind Catherine frightened him and gave Catherine  the couple of seconds she needed to run away.  Years later, when Catherine's car broke down in the Arizona summer heat, she was forced to hitchhike to the nearest payphone.  A man in a van stopped to give her a ride but ignored her request to stop at the first payphone.  As he drove her in the opposite direction, he had a sudden change of heart and pulled over on  the side of the freeway where she immediately got out.  These and many more stories will keep you at the edge of your seat!
