“We’re excited to use the interactive nature of the internet in a way that’s fresh and contemporary, especially in the realm of comedic web series,” Tibbenham says. McKee also comments, “The ‘Choose Your Own Adventure’ feature brings something new to the tried-and-true crime comedy genre, in the vein of Quentin Tarantino, Guy Ritchie and Edgar Wright. We think audiences will be pleased with the result.”
The concept for the web series originated from two short films, written and directed by Tibbenham and McKee in 2010. After seeing how much audiences enjoyed the characters of Larry and Charlie, Tibbenham and McKee decided to create “The Wrong Guys for the Job,” as a web series, continuing Larry and Charlie’s entertaining and comedic journey.
Matthew Tibbenham and Sutton McKee are represented by J.R. Satery at The Gersh Agency. Brian Dobski is represented by Mike De Trana at Anvil Entertainment.
