EFD Induction to show hardening solution at IMTEX

EFD Induction will be displaying one of its HardLine induction hardening systems at the IMTEX show to be held January 24-30 in Bangalore, India.

Jan. 23, 2013 - PRLog -- The show, officially known as the Indian Metal-cutting Machine Tool Exhibition, is the largest event of its kind to be held in South and South East Asia.

“This is going to be a real treat for visitors to IMTEX,” says Mahesh Gupta of EFD Induction India. “We’re going to focus on induction hardening, and will be displaying a vertical hardening system. Visitors to our stand can see how this compact system integrates with a rotary indexing stacker and automated loading and unloading mechanisms.”

One of the world’s largest induction heating companies, EFD Induction has a long-established presence in India and Asia. “We have a major manufacturing facility in Bangalore,” says Gupta, “which is great news for our customers throughout the sub-continent, as it means they have guaranteed access to the parts and expertise needed to succeed in today’s competitive environment. And of course, we also have a network of factories, offices and agents in China, Japan, Thailand and Australasia.”

The HardLine vertical system on show at the EFD Induction stand (Hall 1A, stand A117), is typically used to harden small pins, shafts and other smaller-dimensioned components on a rotary index table. “The particular model on display is popular with automotive subsuppliers,” says Gupta, “and with manufacturers keen to achieve consistent, high-quality hardening results.”

All EFD Induction HardLine hardening systems are powered by the company’s own Sinac generators. “Our Sinac power sources provide proven reliability and throughput,” says Gupta in conclusion, “and are complemented by various options that can be added to suit specific hardening requirements.”
