11th Annual Sickle Cell Gospel Concert
PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 23, 2013 - Please join us at 5pm for the 11th Annual Sickle Cell Foundation Concert and Fundraiser. Hosted by Grace Episcopal Church, located at 3600 North Australian Avenue, West Palm Beach, FL 33407, the event is absolutely FREE for all!

Sponsored by the Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast Chapter of the National Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation, a nationally recognized 501c(3) organization instrumental in spearheading Sickle Cell research and providing relief to families adversely affected by the disorder, this event will raise funds to aid local families battling the disease.

Headlining the event will the dynamic and anointed worship of  Pastor Helen Miller, the Christian Rhythm and Soul sounds of  Recording Artist Jcee, and the  powerful and articulate testimony of Dr. Sandy McNeill-Finklin, affectionately known as “Dr. Butterfly.” As both a survivor of, and an ambassador to Sickle Cell Anemia, Dr. Butterfly’s testimony is guaranteed to ignite many hearts and minds alike.

The Sickle Cell Anemia Foundation of Palm Beach County and Treasure Coast is a private, not for profit organization that administers public funds, private grants, and donations for education and services for persons with Sickle Cell Disease/Trait and their families in Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie Counties. Their service area is home to more than 30,000 people affected by the disease.

Helen Miller
Helen Miller’s life is synonymous with the glory of God. Born in Boynton Beach, FL, Helen has been singing gospel music since the tender age of four. Her anointing has led her to expand into various ministry roles, pastoring, teaching, mentoring, acting, as well as music. As the wife of Bishop Vernon Miller of Bible Teachers International Ministries, she is also a wonderful and loving wife and ministry partner. In 2009, Helen released her latest project featuring The New Anointing Choir, entitled “Time is Winding Up”. The album received much acclaim, as many of its singles have graced radio and press recognition. Dr. Sandy McNeill-Finklin aka Dr. Butterfly

Dr. Sandy McNeill-Finklin, affectionately called “Dr. Butterfly” by her peers and colleagues alike, is one who truly needs no introduction. This awe-inspiring business woman, author, teacher of the gospel, TV & Radio persona, and Media mogul embodies the biblical principle of Proverbs 31 in an effortless and flawless manner. In addition to her attributes and achievements, her singular focus has remained the expansion of God’s flock. A woman of multiple testimonies and heart for others, Dr. Butterfly will share her experiences dealing with the Sickle Cell Anemia, and its impact upon her life as a believer in God.
