Singer Alexandra Stan Performs at H.O.M.E. Bar on February 21st

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 22, 2013 - World-renowned Romanian pop star Alexandra Stan will be performing at H.O.M.E. Bar in Arlington Heights on February 21, 2013. Doors will open at 9p.m. and the concert will begin at 10 p.m. Tickets are available for the concert (http://www.homebarchicago.com/event/alexandra-stan/) starting at only $5 for general admission. Alexandra Stan broke through to the United States in 2010 with the mega hit “Mr. Saxobeat.”

The 23-year-old singer was born in Constanta, Romania. After taking canto-singing lessons and participating in a few music contests, Stan released her debut single in 2009. The song “Lollipop (Param Pam Pam)” was a hit in her native Romania, reaching number 18 on their Top 100. The catchy song, with help from a provocative music video, also gained popularity in Germany in early 2010.

In September of 2010, Alexandra Stan (http://www.alexandrastan.ro/artist/) released her second single, the Eurodance track “Mr. Saxobeat,” which exploded in popularity. The song reached the Top 5 in more than 20 countries and stayed at the top of the Romania charts for eight consecutive weeks. On YouTube, the music video for the song currently has over 177 million views. It was also quite popular in the United States and was featured in a variety of media including the television shows Suburgatory and CSI: Miami. Stan released her first album Saxobeats in 2011.

Tickets can be purchased in advance for the concert and there are three different ticketing packages. Besides the $5 general admission tickets, tickets will be $15 on the day of the concert, there are also $30 VIP seats available at the side of the stage (there is a four-ticket limit for these). Also available for $500 is a booth located to the right or left of the sound tent. Included in the price of the booth are tickets for 10 and a bottle of champagne.

H.O.M.E. Bar, the House of Music and Entertainment, is located at 1227 N. Rand Road in Arlington Heights, Illinois. In addition to their 15,000 square foot, 1000-person capacity theater, the venue features a sports bar filled with 80 plasma-screen televisions.
