Jan. 23, 2013 - A sweet time will be had by all in this fun and informative seminar that promises to tempt the senses and explore the origins of Valentine's Day and the history of chocolate. Kim Larkin and Kelly Ferreira will talk about the myth and mystery surrounding St. Valentines, from the popularity of valentines in the middle ages to its celebration in modern times. In this seminar the audience will learn how to pair fine chocolates with wine and other edibles and incorporate a fun valentine's trivia quiz along with a chocolate poetry reading. The audience will sample a wide variety of Belgian chocolates which range from light to dark and learn the differences between them. Kim Larkin and Kelly Ferreira are sisters and owners of Klassic Kreations Gourmet, a speciality chocolate store.
