, has officially moved out of BETA, launching a new platform for finding and supporting local photographers. In recent years technology has driven down the overhead of digital cameras, while increasing the quality and number of photographs taken at any given time. The result; people regularly capturing beauty in unique perspectives, compositions, and lighting. Photo Patron is a humble attempt to filter and highlight these unseen moments, provide financial support to those that create, and help build a local community of photographers.
At the core, photopatron.com is an online photography gallery, however we are the first online localized gallery that has democratized gallery curation, been transparent with our financial support to photographers, and provide simplified browsing for enthusiasts.
Founded in December of 2012, headquartered in my apartment, and curated by the community that visits, we would greatly appreciate your support.
