Melbourne, Florida - January 21, 2013 - Increased awareness by the public that they CAN do something to save themselves and others in case of an Active Shooter incident has caused firearms training company Space Coast Tactical LLC to design and implement a course for civilians who want to be prepared. The class is based on the same proven procedures and methods as classes currently being taught to Law Enforcement and delivered by FDLE certified instructors.

Plymale, Space Coast Tactical's Head Trainer and himself a retired LEO, had this to say “I started teaching this course to law Enforcement personnel several months after The Columbine Shooting. Over the years it has become more then evident there needed to be a class structured for Civilians in their role in an Active Shooter Response (ASR). Students will be exposed to the realities of what is expected of them as an armed citizen in the event they choose to protect their family and the many other “Sheeple” out there. They will be taught to “have a plan” in their arsenal as well as equipment out there and what works and what does not. They will be immersed in scenario based training that will push them to “Stop the Threat” and come out alive. You owe it to your family and friends to attend and gain the confidence and skill in your abilities in carrying and using of your handgun in these situations”.
