Well Established Hot Reggae Artist “Azeem and the Chosen Ones” Release New Album

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 21, 2013 - [Fort Pierce, Florida] The opulent sounds of smooth and breezy Reggae can be heard throughout the new album release “When Culture Present – Intelligence Has No Precedence” from veteran Pop-Reggae/Rock & RnB artist Azeem & The Chosen Ones.  The artist’s record label announced today the release of this veteran musician’s latest full length CD.   The record boasts 16 tracks and the smooth, innovative and brilliant sounds of Reggae can be heard throughout the recording.

After ten successful album releases during his career starting in 1975 which includes his debut release “See Up Azeem”, 1988’s “Urge to Merge” , “Let Them Talk” in 1991 to the very daring “Rush” in 1998, Azeem has proven to be one of the foremost R&B/Rock and Pop-Reggae artists on the scene today.

With 16 tracks on this new CD Azeem admits that it was difficult to choose what would turn out to be the best radio single.  After careful testing and through fan reaction, “In the Dark” quickly became the featured single.  The song just seems to bring out the best in Azeem’s smooth and classy styling.  The music and emotive lyrics inspire the listener’s soul and leave them wanting more.

Writing and performing for over thirty years, Azeem’s music and inspirational lyrics come from within and from what he observes around him.  His influences are wide spread and range from the Motown smooth soul singers of the sixties like Sam Cooke and Otis Redding to the contemporary sound of The Beatles, Rolling Stones, and John Fogerty & Creedence Clearwater Revival.

Opening for great artists like Peter Tosh and Bunny Wailer, Azeem’s bands have toured extensively over the years and now with his latest group, The Chosen Ones, he is in the process of putting together a national tour to support this new CD Release.
