In this new role, Ferrara will take on broader responsibilities within the firm, supervising account staff and overall client service, working closely with Ray Casas, principal.
Since 2000, Ferrara has led many of the firm’s largest accounts, in her role as vice president of public affairs. During that time she has been responsible for developing winning campaign strategies in social media, community engagement and media relations. Ferrara has designed communications and media relations strategies for local ballot initiatives and zoning matters, and managed public outreach campaigns on a wide variety of issues including transportation, agriculture, mining, electric utilities and commercial/residential development.
Ferrara is a member of the Florida Bar. She is the chairman of the publicity committee at the Coral Gables Bar Association. She served as the 2007 program chair for Leadership Miami and is a member of Leadership Florida, Class XXI. Ferrara is a graduate of the University of Miami School of Law and holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Miami School of Communication. She is a resident of the City of Miami.
