PEI Local Partners with Quipin

Jan. 21, 2013 - PRLog -- Quipin is pleased to announce a partnership with business organization, PEI Local. Quipin has launched a pilot affiliate program and PEI Local is the pioneer organization. The affiliate program has been set up to broaden Quipin’s reach to businesses. PEI Local is an online web directory of PEI businesses, with hundreds of businesses being promoted through their website. PEI Local is offering Quipin ‘s loyalty and marketing management services at a discount to members of their web directory.

One of the mandates of PEI Local is to encourage shoppers to buy local and support the businesses in PEI’s communities. PEI Local’s president, Catherine Arsenault, asserts that buying local allows money to stay within the community and enables local businesses to continue to provide goods and services to Islanders. “We’re looking forward to working with Quipin. The services they provide to businesses are invaluable,” says Arsenault. “We’re excited to help businesses engage their customers with Quipin.”

Quipin is a platform that enables businesses to set up various types of loyalty programs that the customers can access on their smartphones.  Programs can be many forms, such as: rewards given for frequent purchases or for check-ins. Rewards offered can vary as well, with businesses offering products or services, discounts, and special privileges or statuses. Quipin’s programs work with QR codes. The customers scan a collect code with their smartphone to give them points and scan a redeem code to remove points. Quipin provides businesses with insights and gives them a means to communicate with customers who’ve scanned at their establishments, through an online messaging and couponing system.
