Selling Online has become an Adobe Business Catalyst agent after Nick realised there was a gap in the market when it came to giving businesses all-in-one web packages that were both simple to use and cost-effective. Business Catalyst, the new cloud hosting platform from Adobe, bridges that gap as it allows users to have all their software in one place, add to their site as their business grows and have the flexibility to look after everything themselves or pay others to do it.
And it was these features that made the system attractive to Nick, as he explained from his office in Malpas, “The beauty of Adobe Business Catalyst is that it can be used for almost any business. Unlike a lot of other systems, it comes with a complete support and training suite so anyone signing up to it gets the benefit of the same company dealing with everything. It’s cloud-based too, so it requires no software or security updates, and can be transferred easily to other web developers. This level of security and flexibility for business owners is unparalleled anywhere.”
Nick set up Selling Online in 1998 as a web marketing solutions company, specialising in web development, SEO, PPC and email marketing. He took the step to become a UK Partner for Adobe Business Catalyst because he felt that the system could support any size of business, and has developed a range of website packages designed to make life easier for SMEs.
“After conducting research into what frustrated business owners about their websites and databases, we found that most of them hated having multiple logins for their CRM systems, Ecommerce sites and difficult to read analytics. And we shared those frustrations and wanted to be able to help our clients overcome them. We discovered Adobe Business Catalyst and loved the way it is really easy to build and use.”
The company is also hoping to add to its well-established bank of Web Designers that it commissions work to on a regular basis.
