PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 21, 2013 - ‘St. Valentine’s Day Menu to Share’ at R699 per couple includes a mouth-watering Antipasti Plate, then the renowned Valentine’s Seafood Platter consisting of Fresh West Coast crayfish (300g), king prawns (4), fresh fish of the day (220gm), calamari, fresh mussels (100gm) in a creamy Chardonnay, saffron and garlic sauce served with fries, spicy rice, side green salad, traditional Piri-piri, garlic and lemon butter sauces and to complete this romantic dining experience, a Dessert Trio - dark chocolate tart served with vanilla ice-cream and berry compote and a tiramisu, made from scratch, with real mascarpone and Tia Maria liqueur and pasteis de nata - the legendary Portuguese style lemon custard tart recipe from the town of Belém.

‘St.Valentine’s Day Choice Set Menu’ at R295 per person includes a starter of smoked Norwegian Salmon Salad with goat’s cheese, baby herb salad, cocktail Rosa tomatoes, caper berries and pickled cucumber ribbons or Melanzane - chunky Napolitana sauce wrapped in fried eggplant slices then baked golden brown with mozzarella and parmesan cheese or West Coast Mussels simmered in a light chardonnay cream sauce, served with grilled ciabatta

Main courses – Grilled Prawns - 6 large prawns lightly grilled and served with flat chips, fresh garden salad and lemon butter or Portuguese Steak (220g) pan fried beef fillet steak in white wine sauce topped with a fried free range egg, potato and pecorino bake and roast vegetables or Grilled Fish of the Day - served with a root vegetable bake, grilled green beans and lemon-coriander sauce or Grilled Chicken Espetada (270g) - chicken pieces in a lemon marinade served flame grilled on a metal skewer with home-made chips and salad (either Piri-piri or lemon and herb).

Desserts – Dark Chocolate Tart served with vanilla ice-cream and berry compote or Baked Cheese Cake served with chocolate glaze and warm cherry sauce or Pasteis De Nata the legendary Portuguese style lemon custard tart recipe from the town of Belém.

Menu prices include a glass of Pongracz Rosé on arrival
