Vishal Sharma is currently a Managing Director for Merchant Banking at the Marco Polo Network Inc, New York, where he is responsible for Asset Management, Mergers and Acquisitions Advisory, Capital Raising, and Emerging markets cross border advisory.
His experience includes deep expertise in cross-border investment management services with special focus for US – India markets, extensive US / India investment banking and asset management experience, and expert proficiency in investment fund management and customized investment offerings.
Prior to Marco Polo, he co-managed Saffron Capital - a US - India cross border investment fund with a focus on technology, healthcare, and financial services.
Prior to Saffron Capital, Mr. Sharma worked with Lehman Brothers in both its Global Power and Debt Capital Market groups in New York and London. Mr. Sharma has also participated in a variety of restructurings and structured finance assignments.
