Eric P Gioia Gears up for his 8th annual Brian Orakpo Leukemia Celebrity Golf Tournament

Jan. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- Hosted by Brian Orakpo a 26 year old linebacker for the Washington Redskins. The mission of the Leukemia & Lymphoma society is to help find potential cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkins disease & myeloma to help improve the overall quality of life of patients & their families.

This years event is being held on May 6, 2013 at the Trump National Golf Club in Northern Virginia.

The facts are quite enlightening. Did you know that every 4 minutes somebody is diagnosed with a form of blood cancer and every 10 minutes another victim is taken as a result of various blood diseases. Currently blood cancers are the third highest cancer killers in the United States.
