The Eminent Domain Section of the State Bar of Georgia awarded him the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award in the practice of eminent domain, an award that now is given in his name annually. For four decades, he has litigated condemnation, eminent domain, business valuation and other real-estate cases. His practice includes a national client base of commercial, mixed-use and shopping center developers and owners with properties and businesses taken or damaged for a public project.
