PRLog (Press Release) -
Jan. 19, 2013 - Many homeowners rushed to remove walls and insulation without first sampling for mold to establish a baseline in the structure. Sheetrock and insulation were removed in most cases without contractors have the proper OSHA training or any training with regard to mold. When walls and floors were removed there was no dust control and mold spores in most cases were spread throughout the structure in areas that were not effected by water damage. A few homeowners have hired mold testing companies to test their homes and were found to contain excessively high levels of mold and fungi.
These homeowners will have to completely clean the structure and rip out insulation and walls a second time to allow a qualified mold remediation company to properly clean and disinfect the structure. Magic sprays and spray bombs do not prevent mold. Some companies are providing literature regarding their mold spray that claims to prevent " HIV" and termites. There are no magic sprays, only proper mold. Remediation by a qualified and New Jersey Licensed Company can provide proper mold remediation. Failure to properly remediate a home could cause health related issues to the occupants and even cause the structure to be deemed uninhabitable"
