Jan. 19, 2013 - PRLog -- The founder of a Hong Kong-registered company that assists airlines looking to buy cabin comfort products in China has developed his own source for airline cabin service information and is planning to expand its reach among other social media.

Vladyslav Mazur launched the Inflight Digest this fall on the social media site rebelmouse.com as a way of promoting his business, MusukoMusume Limited. Mazur has been working in China since 2005 when he moved there as part of the a Ukrainian agriculture holding group.  The work put him in contact with many Chinese manufacturers. However, even before that, Mazur said he had been fascinated with airline business.

“During my stay in China I had visited many different manufacturers of airline-related cabin comfort products: tableware, textile, amenities and headphones,” Mazur tells PAX International.  “I had seen in China the production of airline’s related cabin comfort products for most of top 50 airlines. And I had finally decided in 2011 to start my own business.”

Since he formed the company, Mazur has been pursuing airline customers and proposing strategies to more effectively purchase products. He sees opportunities for airlines or airline alliances to consolidate purchasing of cabin comfort products made in China’s many factories.

He also sees advantages for the industry in establishing a center for research, development, purchasing, packaging and distribution that could be headquartered in Special Economic and Development Zone on the China’s East Coast. Besides cabin comfort products, Mazur says airlines might utilize the full power of China’s manufacturing base – to produce branded products like gifts, souvenirs, apparel and passenger travel amenities for sale in an airline’s ancillary revenue programs. He is currently seeking support and investment for such an enterprise.

Mazur said he established the Inflight Digest as a way for suppliers in China to promote their business and products on a social media. On the site, visitors find stories about onboard passenger services. In the future, Mazur said Inflight Digest “shall become the integral part of MusukoMusume’s enterprise platform for inflight related business.”
