The Bayat Group Raises Funds For Operation Smile

Jan. 18, 2013 - PRLog -- On Dec. 15 2012  (Sudbury, ON) - The Bayat Group www.thebayatgroup.ca , a sales and marketing company, held a successful fundraiser to raise funds for Operation Smile, a children's medical charity.

The event was a bowling fundraiser and a raffle which was held at the Plaza Bowl, brought in donations from all attendees - helping them get a third of the way to their overall fundraising goal of $3000. Local businesses also provided donations, including:

Wacky Wings: Restaurant gift certificates
Silvery City: Movie gift certificates
Perfect Scents: Gift basket
Mathew Clarke painting (raffle)

"All of the donations, plus everyone who attended the event, really made it an enormous success," said Bayat Group President, Alex Bayat. "We're looking forward to planning additional fundraising events in the near future to meet our goal. Operation Smile is an important charitable organization and we would like to help children across the globe receive the gifts of new smiles."
