Tuesday, February 5, 2013, 6 to 8 p.m.
“Developing Your Child Care Series”
Description: This comprehensive series of 10 workshops will provide you the tools to launch and sustain your business. Participants will follow a step by step process to develop a business and marketing plan, policies and procedures for their child care business, a parent handbook and a sound understanding of business financials.

Description: With over 3 million military and civilian employees, the U.S. Department of Defense is the world’s largest employer, and it is the biggest spender among all Federal agencies. Doing business with the DoD is not only a powerful way to serve our country, but it also makes great business sense.  Representatives from the DoD have been invited to speak. Tackling such a large agency can be a daunting task without the proper guidance.  This workshop will teach you to:
- Determine which DoD departments work best for your business
- Understand how and when the DoD procures products and services
- Navigate FedBizOpps.gov to find current DoD opportunities
