GAI Consultants Adds Senior Engineering Manager to Wisconsin Operations

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 18, 2013 - Green Bay, WI—GAI Consultants, Inc. (GAI) welcomes Senior Engineering Manager, Dean Zanon, P.E. to its Community Development Business Unit. Mr. Zanon brings over 20 years of experience with municipal water and wastewater projects to the firm. Dean has extensive experience managing complex water and wastewater projects, including potable water supply and distribution, hydraulic modeling, wastewater treatment facility design, inflow and infiltration studies, rate studies, monitoring plans, and facility contract operations. He has partnered with community leaders across Wisconsin on a wide variety of infrastructure, environmental and construction projects. Previously employed as Manager of Water and Wastewater Services with Robert E. Lee & Associates, Inc., Dean has extensive expertise with client management, project coordination, budget monitoring, technical design, public involvement and quality control reviews.

“Dean is an important addition to the GAI team,” stated Mark Jesse, Assistant Vice President and Midwest Community Development Manager. “He not only brings diverse technical and management expertise, but a solid understanding of the current challenges and needs of Wisconsin municipalities.”  

Dean holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University, and is a registered professional engineer. He is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), Water Environment Federation, Wisconsin Rural Water Association, Wisconsin Water Association, and the Wisconsin Wastewater Operators Association. Dean will augment GAI’s water and wastewater expertise in the Midwest from the firm’s Green Bay, Wisconsin office.
