Range Rover Releases a Limited Edition Sicilian Yellow Evoque

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 18, 2013 - A limited edition of Land Rover’s immensely popular compact SUV, the Range Rover Evoque, was unveiled at the European Motor Show in Brussels. Dubbed the Sicilian Yellow, the vehicle is based upon the 2013 Evoque Dynamic-Plus, and features a Sicilian Yellow body with a Santorini Black roof, or a Santorini Black body and Sicilian Yellow Roof. The buzz at Motor Werks Land Rover, a premier Land Rover dealership in Hoffman Estates, Illinois (http://www.landroverhoffman.com/dealership/about.htm), is that this stylish limited edition Evoque will be released in the U.S. perhaps as early as May.

With its two very distinctive color schemes, the limited edition will be offered in both 3-door and 5-door models. The interior features black upholstery with yellow stitching, black finishes, and a striking yellow strip across the dash.

The Sicilian Yellow will be the very first of Land Rover’s compact SUVs to be offered with the all-new Black Design Pack, which will also be made available on all the Dynamic models in the spring of this year.

The Black Design package will add a number of custom features and equipment, including:

• darkened fog lamps and headlights
• clear lights at the rear
• 20-inch gloss black forged wheels
• black bumper sections
• dark exhaust tips
• rear sport spoiler
• black Range Rover lettering

All of the standard Evoque engine options—the 2.2L diesel with 6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission, the 150PS TD4 version engine combined with a six-speed manual, and the Si4 engine with a 6-speed automatic transmission—will be made available on the limited edition.

This sporty new limited edition Range Rover is sure to capture the imagination of many of the Evoque’s fans. The bold, unique color, coupled with the features that are included in exclusive Black Design package, make for a real collector’s edition of this exceptional compact SUV.
