The India Digital Summit is held annually by IAMAI since 2006. The event aims to bring together the digital industry of the country and recognize achievers in different domains such as mobile and online marketing, entrepreneurship, media, mobile and internet companies, technology, OEM, entertainment, investors, online payment, mobile VAS, and advertising. This year's event was as exciting as before with speakers like Vijay Shekhar Sharma, Founder and CEO of One97 Communications and keynote speakers like Sam Pitroda, Adviser to the Prime Minister on Public Information Infrastructure & Innovations and Chairman, National Council and Sashi Tharoor, is the Indian Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Member of Parliament from the Thiruvananthapuram of Kerala, an author and a columnist.
