XoomPark to Present at Investors Choice® Conference in Midway, Utah

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 17, 2013 - (SALT LAKE CITY) XoomPark, an exciting young business based in Provo, Utah, is one of twenty-two promising companies that will present at the 29th Annual Investors Choice® Venture Capital Conference at the Zermatt Resort & Spa in Midway, Utah, on Thursday, February 7, presented by the Wayne Brown Institute and http://www.venturecapital.org.

Companies were selected based on their ability to achieve sales (either currently or post-investment), their strong management team, and/or their proprietary technology. Each of the selected companies has a realistic capability of attaining $30-$100 million a year in sales within three to seven years.

XoomPark provides online parking reservations for events. They partner with parking garages like superdome parking, so event goers can reserve front-row parking. XoomPark take the hassle of parking out of events and concerts.

CEO Ken Frei is pleased to be selected to participate at the Investors Choice Conference. With Wayne Brown Institute's 29-year history of helping companies to obtain investment, the future prospects for XoomPark looks good.

XoomPark and the other high growth potential companies have been screened, selected, and are being mentored through a number of sessions with teams of experienced professionals throughout the angel and venture capital field. After a series of practice presentations, XoomPark and other selected companies will make their ten-minute pitch at the Conference in an effort to raise capital with investors.

The event begins with a gala reception for invited guests at Red Butte Gardens from 6 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 6. On Thursday morning, Feb. 7, companies will be presenting from 9 a.m. to Noon at the Zermatt Resort & Spa in Midway. One-on-one meetings with investors will continue throughout the day.

Noted investor Dr. Christopher W. Kersey, Partner and Managing Member of Camden Partners in Baltimore, Maryland will speak at a luncheon. Dr. Kersey serves on the board of directors of Essence Group Health Corporation, LipoScience Inc., Medivance Inc., MinSec Holdings Inc., PatientSafe Solutions Inc., Santa Rosa Consulting Inc. and Webmedx Inc. Dr. Kersey also serves on the board of trustees of Johns Hopkins Medicine and the board of trustees of The Johns Hopkins Hospital. Three panel discussions will follow the luncheon: “What is getting you funding and why?”, “Strategy at any Stage”, and “Crowdfunding: Can it Help Companies Raise Money”.
