Salon 625’s Food Drive Success

Jan. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- Salon 625 welcomes in the New Year with warm hearts after their successful food drive for Little Friends of Naperville, an organization that helps children and adults with autism and other developmental disorders, in December 2012. Laurie Bollnow, owner of Salon 625, accomplished her goal in giving back to the community that her salon and day spa has been apart of since 1995.  
   “We [Salon 625] have the best and most loyal clients”, said Bollnow, “and for that we are sincerely grateful.”
   With support from friends, family, and clients, Salon 625 was able to donate a wide variety of non-perishable goods to stock the pantries of Little Friends’ families.
   “It was my pleasure to participate [in the food drive]. Salon 625 made it very easy and I would be willing to do it again,” said Holly Parks, a Salon 625 client.
   Salon 625 rewarded those who donated with a coupon for their favorite services.
   Most clients were just happy to give to a great organization, but were glad to see their generosity was appreciated. Salon 625 hopes to continue this “Giving Back” tradition and has been involved with various women’s shelters.
   “Thank you to all of our friends, family and clients! You made our holiday giving to “Little Friends” a huge success,” said Bollnow.
