Model Moves Boot Camp Heads to South Beach on January 26th

She herself was more of an ugly duckling than a swan when she began her career a couple of decades ago. “I wasn’t a natural, actually I was anything but elegant,” says Ehlers. Her first show was for Ralph Lauren and she ended up slipping down the staircase at the Plaza Hotel on top of Ralph himself. By working for months in front of the mirror and taking ballet lessons, she eventually walked the runways of all of the elite designers in Milan, Paris and NYC and was booked to do print campaigns like Chanel and Gucci.

Now, after years of success in the world of fashion, Ehlers has turned her talents to working with girls to uncover and bring to light their true inner beauty. Through her exciting, practical and fun Model Moves Boot Camp workshops, Ehlers passes on the valuable lessons she’s learned about self-confidence, body language and how to convey a poised, polished persona.

“When a girl walks into a room, you notice the way they stand more than anything. Confidence comes through in the way we move, stand and hold our bodies,” notes Ehlers.

Her experience on the other side of the camera as a NYC lifestyle and fashion photographer, combined with her warm, encouraging style, brings out the best in her workshop participants.  She empowers them, using proven methods that improve posture and presentation: entering a room with authority, shaking hands firmly, making and maintaining eye contact.
