"I need people that are not biased for one author or the other to come and vote in this weeks Challenge", says Bruce Goldwell. "By getting people to come and vote that are not acquainted with the authors, authors will be able to get honest feedback about how well their book description holds up against others. I am asking those that read this message to come and vote to help in this survey."
Bruce Goldwell is sponsoring Writer's Got Talent to help the author contestants to learn how to better market their books. In week one, authors invited their friends and fans to come and vote for them. Thirty authors started and after the first week, ten people have been eliminated. For the second challenge, the book description of each of the author's books has been posted for visitors to read and vote on. Goldwell is hoping to enlist the help of unbiased people (not one of the authors fans) to come and vote for the description they like most.
Each week during the contest, there will be a featured author whose book trailer is posted at the top of the Voting page along with the link to their book on Amazon. Visitors who join the blog for Writer's Got Talent are entered in a drawing to get a free autograph copy of the featured author's book.
If you have a few moments you can spare to help in this survey, come visit the Writer's Got Talent web site to cast your vote. The book descriptions for the authors are on this page and the Survey for visitors to vote is the gray area under the book descriptions. Check the box next to the name of the author's name for the description you select then click the FINISH SURVEY button at the bottom right side of the gray voting area.
Authors wanting to take part in the Writer's Got Talent Season II contest coming this spring should join the blog to receive the announcement when registration begins.
