Cornerstone Capital Advisors Confirm Their Continued Partnership With Local Middle Schools.

Jan. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Cornerstone Capital Advisors, an advisory service with the ability to provide objective investment advice at every turn, founded in 1991 by Mr. Harry Lim in Hong Kong last week announced that the company has again partnered with local schools for the third consecutive year to bring financial literacy programs to students at Local Middle Schools. Cornerstone Capital Advisors employees will teach Business Economic students from the local area different aspects of the financial industries with courses  which explore personal finance and students' education and career options based on their skills, interests and values. For the two years, Cornerstone Capital Advisors employees from all levels on the corporate ladder volunteer and lead 3 day courses teaching students about personal finance, entrepreneurship and workforce readiness. The 3 day courses are taught over a six-lesson program with 2 lessons a day being taught over 3 days by members of Cornerstone Capital Advisors.

Cornerstone Capital Advisors lesson plans include PowerPoint presentations, hands-on activities and age-financial discussions where the students are fully engaged in many aspects of the global banking and finance industries. Since 2011, Cornerstone Capital Advisors volunteers have worked with approximately 1,000 students. Mr. Simon Xing, A teacher at one of the middle schools that has taken part in the program for the past two years commented “For the past two years the students who have taken the course have all stated that it had been a worthwhile experience and many have commented that they would like to move in to the finance industry once their education has been completed.
