RecruitMilitary to Produce Veteran Jobs Event in San Antonio on February 14

Jan. 16, 2013 - PRLog -- Cincinnati, OH – The military-to-civilian recruitment firm RecruitMilitary will produce a Veteran Opportunity Expo, a hiring event for military veterans, at The Alamodome in San Antonio on Thursday, February 14, 2013. USAA will sponsor the event, which will run from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. RecruitMilitary is inviting veterans who already have civilian work experience, men and women who are transitioning from active duty to civilian life, members of the National Guard and reserves, military spouses, and other military family members.

RecruitMilitary expects more than 45 employers, franchisors, educational institutions, and government agencies to reserve exhibitor booths at the Expo. Already signed up are National Oilwell Varco, Walgreens, Bell Helicopter Textron Inc., Remote Imagery Technologies Inc., USAA, The Home Depot, Chevron Corporation, Trident University International, Pearson, Bond Lighting and Protection Services, Aldez Containers LLC, Schlumberger, Lockheed Martin, CarMax, Baker Hughes, C.R. England Inc., Military Sealift Command, AutoNation, First Command Financial Planning, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Income Life Insurance Company, WESCO, Union Institute and University, The Geo Group Inc., Silverleaf Resorts Inc., HSS – Hospital Shared Services, International Schools, The Dwyer Group, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, The Art Institutes, United Rentals Inc., WGU Texas, Oklahoma College of Construction, WyoTech, and Career Path Media Group Inc.

RecruitMilitary will produce the Expo in cooperation with The American Legion (www.legion.org), an association of veterans who served during times of war. The Legion has 2.4 million members in nearly 14,000 posts throughout the world.
