Bryan College was founded in 1982. Its mission is to meet the growing demands of students who need career training that allowed them to enter into job markets where career growth potential existed.
“We want students to receive training in a field they can actually get a job in after graduation. A field that will let them develop a lifelong career and support a family,” said Brian Stewart, Bryan University President/CEO.
In August 2012, Bryan College changed its name to Bryan University to coincide with the decision to expand the number of programs available, including offering a new Master’s Degree in Business Administration online. Bryan University also added programs at the Associate’s and Bachelor’s levels and has plans to serve international students.
The decision to expand is part of the organization's strategic plan, but Stewart is quick to point out that it does not detract from its commitment to students who want to pursue their education in a small school atmosphere.
In addition to Springfield, Bryan University has campuses in Columbia, MO, Topeka, KS, and Rogers, AR, as well as online programs. Bryan University provides program opportunities for people interested in the following areas of study:
· Information Technology
· Allied Health
· Criminal Justice
· Health and Wellness
