-- Reston, VA, January 16, 2013- Due to a tremendous amount of interest in learning more about how to utilize a limited amount of resources to reach maximum productivity, WBB is hosting the first of It’s Thought Leadership Series on “The Challenge of Achieving Organizational Efficiency in Government” next Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the Renaissance Hotel in Downtown DC. Keynote speaker, Mr. Robert M. Lightfoot Jr., Associate Administrator for NASA, will discuss how his organization overcame the pressures of reducing their overall cost of doing business while meeting ambitious stakeholder performance objectives.
This session will examine some of the causes of organizational inefficiency and identify proven approaches that can be taken to align an organization’
s resources for current operational effectiveness and long-term success. It will address government leaders’ needs to maximize organizational efficiency, planning a re-organization, merger or creating a startup, improving mission performance, and navigating emerging or anticipated budget reductions.
