New Version of Rap Wars Rap Music App for Android Now Available

Jan. 17, 2013 - PRLog -- The creators of Rap Wars, Shore Productions, announced today that Rap Wars Version 2.0 has been released for Android and is now available in Google Play.

There are several new features that include an advanced audio mode, featured raps and beats, customizing of Facebook and Twitter sharing, beat name display on raps in the Cypher, improved registration, improved rating system and now it’s easier to rate and review the Rap Wars app.

The new advanced audio mode provides better recording quality, and is ideal for rappers who prefer to use their head phones for recording by mixing the vocal track and beat track digitally. In addition to advanced audio, Rap Wars now has its Featured Raps added to the Cypher and Featured Beats added to the extensive beat library.

The current Featured Rap is by rap / hip hop artist Prophet from 7Lions, a band produced by the Grammy-winning RedOne of 2101 Records. Prophet has also contributed his beat ‘Silly Sins’ which is the current Featured Beat. These new features of Rap Wars are being used for the 2101 Records Battle with Prophet contest (http://www.rapwars.com/2101-records-rap-battle-contest-prophet-7lions) that is currently underway.

The other enhancements include allowing users to write custom text when sharing their own or other rappers’ raps on Facebook and Twitter, showing the name of the beat used for newly recorded raps, better registration with confirmation email and forgotten password retrieval, making it easier to rate and review Rap Wars and updating our rating system so that users can no longer rate themselves.

Rap Wars is the first rap music app that lets mobile phone and tablet users battle each other from any Android, iPhone or iPad mobile device worldwide. The paid version of Rap Wars has ad display disabled and includes 100 extra Beat Creds allowing users to add additional beats of their choosing. Beat Creds are Rap Wars currency that can be used to add rap beats.
