Writers, Readers Use Web to Love Their Murder

Pioneered at Harper College in 1999, the Love Is Murder Mystery Conference is held annually in February, bringing together writers, readers, publishers, agents and other lovers of the mystery genre. The conference is eagerly anticipated by attendees so the organizers decided to launch an improved website to keep everyone involved during the months leading up to the event.

LIM worked with Sprocket Websites (http://www.sprocketwebsites.com/) to build a news-oriented layout that showcases the latest updates as they occur. Information about featured authors, guest speakers and new presentations can be added to the pages of this Content Management System as needed and a link between the news module and an email newsletter program sends updates to members automatically.

In addition to offering attendees seminars, networking and exhibits, LIM is excited to welcome several celebrity authors including:
