The premises will be conveniently located opposite Longfield Primary School in Lankers Drive which was previously occupied by Dukes Doctors surgery.
The nursery will be owned and operated by husband and wife team Geoff & Wendy Kent and is planned to open in June of this year.
Excited about the new project, Wendy Kent explained, "There is much work to be done. We will be completely refurbishing the property to create an appealing and stimulating child care environment, including the installation of the latest learning materials, technology, a specialist music area and of course a wonderful Monkeyproof garden play area."
Geoff Kent added, "The new nursery will create new jobs in the area. We are keen to hear from local qualified childcare professionals who would like to join this fast growing and progressive organisation. Starting with our Nursery Manager, we know that we need the best people and our remuneration package added to the training and personal development we provide will support this aspiration."
