Follow on Google News | Skies the limit with CTC trainingHeat pump manufacturer CTC is offering free extra product training to installers attending the forthcoming heat pump and biomass BPEC courses at its purpose-built headquarters in Droitwich.
By: Wax PR & Marketing The extra day’s product training complements the three-day BPEC courses run by national renewable energy training provider, EcoSkies. “The combination of the two courses will help installers to stay further ahead of the competition,” This is because the Department for Energy and Climate Change (DECC) has proposed tariff levels for biomass boilers, plus ground and air source heat pumps under the Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and (RHI 2) – a Government-backed scheme to encourage the uptake of renewable heat technologies for the non-domestic and domestic sector. These tariff levels have yet to be confirmed by the Government, but CTC believes their inclusion in the domestic RHI will help to further stimulate both the heat pump and biomass market in the UK. Installers who attend will also go away with free access to SizeIT - CTC’s innovative new software, which allows installers to select the right product for installation. It will also allow installers to simulate the running cost of the system by using the heat loss calculation and local weather data. The BPEC course dates are: 5 – 7 Feb for air and ground source heat pumps, and 19 – 21 Feb for biomass. Call EcoSkies for more details on 01246 828 322. End
