Duane DaROCK
His early career was guided & managed by the incomparable legend Whitney Houston. In the 20 years or so since, Darock has made his mark; including his early work such as collaborations with hip hop icons such as Big Daddy Kane, LL Cool J, Busta Rhymes, Common and Jay-Z to Tatiyana Ali, The Pussycat Dolls, Faith Evans and Shaquille O'Neal, and Mary J. Blige to name a few.
The ingeniously penned, “Letter to Big”, co-written by Duane DaRock and performed by Jadakiss featuring Faith Evans, Duane DaRock’s emerged in film as part of the soundtrack of Notorious, which was nominated for the World Soundtrack Award in 2009.
He also has a collaboration with Jadakiss, called “Bottle Service” and produced “She Likes Me” featuring Nicki Minaj. Additionally, Duane DaRock has produced a song on Jim Jones ft. Teyana Taylor & Cam’ron titled “Party Tonight”. He just recently collaborated with Bobby Valentino on a song titled “Get to Know U” in 2012.
Today Duane DaRock’s stellar hit savvy radar has earned him a position as one of the hardest working, most respected and established music producers/writers to exist in the industry.
He has established his own Hip Hop, R&B and Pop record label, “Make Da Plug Music”. Artists working with him describe the hit making experience as walking thru a mine field blind folded and DaRock being a water tower over seeing each and every vital step leading them to the top of charts.
