Whitesands Capital In Hong Kong Go For Experience To Add To Their Board Of Directors

Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Whitesands Capital, one of Asia’s leading private wealth management firms, founded in 1999 in the Asian Pacific Regional investment hub of Hong Kong today confirmed that the firm has appointed Irina Zelyaeva as Non-executive Director with effect from 21st January 2013. Ms. Zelyaeva joined Whitesands Capital in May 2010 in an advisory capacity on a contract basis dealing in the emerging Eastern European markets. In February 2012, Ms. Zelyaeva relocated to Hong Kong.

Whitesands Capital’s new Non-executive Director, Irina Zelyaeva’s new focus is on assessing the competitive environment and evaluating risk analysis and growth opportunities across Asia, an area of key strategic focus for Whitesands Capital. In addition, she will work closely with the firm’s Corporate Division team in representing Whitesands Capital to major clients across the region to further increase and cement the bank’s corporate and institutional client relationships. Ms. Zelyaeva has geographic responsibility for 20 countries in the region, including Hong Kong, China, Japan, Korea, India and Singapore.

Ms. Zelyaeva has over 25 years of banking and finance experience. Prior to her present role, she was with a multinational based bank, where she was Group General Manager of Corporate and Institutional Banking. Prior to this, Ms. Zelyaeva held various senior executive roles with major banking corporations throughout Europe and Asia.
