Hope HealthCare Services welcomes new directors

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 15, 2013 - Hope HealthCare Services announces Tamara DeCaro as director of Hope Care and Jill Waruszewski as director of Hope Comfort Care.

As director of Hope Care, DeCaro is responsible for Hope’s physician liaisons, who educate doctors from the community about the organization’s services. She also oversees the enrollment center, where employees discuss hospice care with callers seeking support, and admissions.

DeCaro has worked in operations and management at health care, pharmaceutical and insurance organizations for more than two decades. She is a board member with the American Cancer Society in Naples, a committee member for the Leadership Council on Aging, past vice president of the Area Agency on Aging’s executive board and a past president of CAMEO in Collier County. DeCaro also is a member of the Medical Managers Association and the Florida Assisted Living Association. She holds a bachelor’s and master’s in business management from Indiana Wesleyan University.

Waruszewski oversees the Comfort Care program (http://hopehcs.org/comfortcare/), which focuses on easing patients’ pain and helping to make their environments more soothing, peaceful and supportive. Hope Comfort Care addresses vital areas of comfort, including environment, appearance and hygiene, peace of mind, mood and spirituality.

With nearly 15 years in the healthcare and education industries, Waruszewski joined Hope’s supportive services team in 2009, managing and educating the organization’s social workers. She holds a master’s degree from Florida Gulf Coast University and a bachelor’s degree from Grand Valley State University, both in social work. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers.
