Jan. 15, 2013 - PRLog -- Commercial photographer Steve Collins owns a discrete, residential studio in Fredericksburg, Virginia. He continues to and enjoys shooting on location – wherever that assignment may take him. SJ Collins Photography’s services include:

• Photography for advertisements, catalogs, web sites, brochures, annual reports.

• Food, product & still life photography.

• Editorial photography.

• Special event coverage.

In addition to commercial business services, Steve is a people person and has a never ending love for portraiture. In his studio, or out, he offers traditional, life style, beauty and corporate portraiture; always discrete, always fun and always in a relaxed, friendly environment.

His partner Michele, together offer expanded photographic services from Boudoir to Intimate/Subsequent Weddings to formal Black Tie occasions.

Since Steve's childhood, he has known that he was a visual person. With a flair for detail,  He utilize light to create a subject-centric vision. There seems to be a belief where a photographer must specialize in one area. He say's that’s nonsense! Unless of course you have a real desire for one type of photography.

Professionally trained and guided by my mentor and friend Don Giannatti. Don has over 4 decades of professional experience, and at one time co-owner of the second largest advertising agency in Phoenix, AZ, where he earned his nickname – The Wizard of Wow, or Wizwow. Steve has attended Don's
workshops for the past four years. In 2012 Steve enrolled in his private Pro 52 online training series. His goal today is to mentor, teach and “pay it forward” leveraging distance and online learning technologies.

A twenty-two year veteran of the US Coast Guard, he understand what it takes to have a solid work ethic. From introductions to wrap up, he is there for you one hundred percent. Having been so many places and seen so many things, he can’t stop living and won’t stop laughing.
