4th Annual Salute the DJs Award Show

ODT Entertainment is thrilled to announce the 4th Annual Salute the DJs Award Show taking place January 20 - 22, 2013 at The Atrium Events Center, hosted by Lil Bankhead, Crum.com, Torii, and Citty.  Last year’s event was a huge success, but this year will be even bigger!  This year’s show will shine an even brighter light on the life and importance of the DJ.   This year’s theme, “Legacy of the DJ,” will be honoring DJs from all across the globe paying them homage for the vital roles that they play in the music business.  A special presentation will be given to honor the late great Jam Master Jay, and his son Jam Master Jason will be in attendance to accept his award.  “When I started the Salute the Djs Award Show I had no idea that it would get this big and take on a life of its own, but my sole reason for starting this was to make the music industry appreciate the djs,” says Salute the DJs Founder, Lady Shack.

There will be a lot of celebrities in the building, Jim Jones, Debra Antney(CEO of Mizay Entertainment), Final Draft, YMCMB’s Lil’ Chuckee, and more.  Performances by K. Michelle, Travis Porter, Diamond of Crime Mob, Princess of Crime Mob, The Rich Kids, Shawty Lo, Mykko Montana, and more.

For 3 days and 3 nights only, ODT Entertainment will be recognizing those DJs who have exemplified outstanding qualities that reflect the true essence of what it is to be a DJ.  Our exhilarating journey begins January 20th, with our Soul Food Sunday Luncheon that will be held at The Courtyard Marriott, 133 Carnegie Way, Atlanta, GA. We will wine and dine the djs, media and select industry tastemakers as we welcome them to Atlanta.  Later that night we will be having our Sinful Sunday Party at one of Atlanta’s Premiere Adult Entertainment Clubs, Strokers, hosted by XXX star Pinky.  On January 21st, the Hip Hop for Homelessness Charity Basketball game will be going down at Metro Lanes and Games, 1959 Metropolitan Pkwy , Atlanta, GA from 5-9pm.  We will also be having our “Salute the DJs Artist Showcase” at 10 pm at the Atrium Events Center, where we will allow artists to perform before the djs and showcase their talents. There will be an industry panel that will educate and provide information for upcoming artists.  January 22nd from 12-4pm, there will be a Cool Running DJs Meet & Greet at Tees and Quotes, 22 Bennett St NW Atlanta, GA.  Then at 6pm, doors will open for the 4th Annual Salute the Djs Award Show held at the Atrium Events Center.  The red carpet is at 6pm, the DJ gifting suite, brought to you by Billy Bad AXX from 6:30-7:30pm, and the curtains will rise to begin the 4th Annual Salute the Djs Award Show at 8pm.
