Urban Push Movement, Volume 1 to take place Friday, January 18, 2013 at Therapy Wine Lounge

PRLog (Press Release) - Jan. 15, 2013 - Urban Push Volume 1, in partnership with online radio station mixtape108.com, hopes to change and reinvent the way that music and artists are looked upon. Their abstract/contemporary approach supersedes the marginal line of what others have done before them. While mixtape108.com caters to independent artist worldwide, Urban Push Movement acknowledges the need for an innovative approach to the arts.      

The Urban Push Event Series is “the movement for all movements.” Volume 1 has the following epic lineup for Friday night’s show: DJs Eye-V, Lady Fingas & DJ a/k/a Phuckit!, along with Writer Kareem Kennedy, Visual Artist Charlie V, Poets Dope Poetz /Supa Badd, and Music Artists, Kendra Williams, Iris P, Al Beauti, HITZ International (Jay Jones, STY & Blaze), E.D. Nix, Kunta Fly Snooka, & JaSoRude. Hosts include Ranise “The Champ” Brown, Wendy “Ms Awesum” Hansell & Chilly Ray Valentine.

Urban Push Movement, Volume 1 will be the first of many events that will showcase the true talent birthed by the City of New Orleans. Urban Push Movement is the beginning of something large, with much more in store for its followers!
